Open a Nomura Trading Account With Your BDO Savings Account

1. Go to https://www.bdo.com.ph/personal and select Subsidiaries. You can also input https://www.bdo.com.ph/subsidiaries to get into the page right away. Select Go next to BDO Nomura.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile phone and you will enter it on the next page. Just check the “I Agree” box in the Letter of Instruction and Consent. From the drop down menu, nominate a Beneficiary Account, which will be used for the withdrawal process. The Beneficiary Account will be your Bank Savings Account. Click Next. Don’t forget to “agree” on the Terms and Conditions.
Note: You might be required to enter the BDO Bank Branch Code during the process.
3. Then, you will be presented the screen where you have to input your personal information. This will be your Investor Profile.
4. Fill out and answer the Suitability Assessment Form. Click Next.
5. Enter the Captcha code. Click Submit.
6. Review the information you entered on Investor Profile and Suitability Assessment Form. Make sure that everything is true and correct. If you entered incorrect information, edit it and click on the Confirm button to submit your application.
7. All you have to do is wait for confirmation email that will be sent to the email address that you used to registered your online banking account. In the email, you will receive three attachments: Instruction Consent, Terms and Conditions, and Online Trading Application. The email also has your Customer Code.
8. You will need to set a password also known as Trading Pin to control access of your Online Trading Account.
9. Next step would be to fund your BDO Nomura Trading Account. You may do so through BDO Online Banking and other Bills Payment facilities such as Over The Counter, Mobile Banking, and ATM Machines. Simply indicate the details as follows:
Company Name: BDO Nomura Securities Inc.
Institution Code: 0491
Subscriber’s Account: BDO Nomura Customer Code
Subscriber’s Name: Client Name
There is a cut-off time of 10:00 p.m. for funding your BDO Nomura Online Trading Account so that the money can be credited for your buying power for the next trading day.
10. To sign in to your BDO Nomura Online Trading Account, go to https://www.bdo.com.ph/bdonomura/home. Click on Online Trading Login.
If you do not have an account with BDO, you can open a new one. You just need to fill out an application form and submit the requirements, which include 2 valid IDs, proof of billing, picture (taken at the bank via webcam), and initial deposit amount.
