Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa Review 2018

Here’s our review on Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa. We got to visit the resort over the weekend. It is located in Los Baños in the province of Laguna, about an hour and a half drive from Metro Manila. There are several routes that you can take if you have a car of your own.

How to Get There from Pasay, Metro Manila:

1. Get on Metro Manila Skyway in Makati from Taft / R-2 and Finlandia.

2. Follow Metro Manila Skyway and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) / R-3 to Pan-Philippine Highway / AH6 in Calamba.

3. Take exit 50 from SLEX / Pan-Philippine Highway / R-3.

4. Follow Pan-Philippine Highway / AH-26, Bucal Bypass Road / and Manila South Road to Alviar Compound Purok 1, Brgy. Los Baños, Laguna.

This is the fastest route for private vehicles. This route has tolls too. It is the best way to avoid traffic too.

Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa really boasts a wonderful landscape. It is definitely a perfect place if you are laid-back person who just wants to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The road going there also boasts a great view because the resort is situated in the northern foothills of Mt. Makiling, a dormant volcano, which is the source of the town’s hot springs and thermal waters.

The view of the lake is not really the most breathtaking view. There isn’t really that much to be seen except the lake itself and the surroundings. However, the lake view offers the most idyllic setting for relaxation. There are floating docks with reclining beach chairs. It is a romantic spot at night.

Amenities and Actitivies

Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa has a lot to offer aside from the serene view. The resort offers extreme water activities perfect for family bonding, team building, and for couples. For adventurous people, you can try cliff diving, slip ‘n fly, slip ‘n fly 2.0, blob, vine swing, Russian swing, floating basketball kayak, balsa raffling, and stand-up paddle board.

If you are not into adventure and just want to relax, you can make use of their swimming pools. You can also opt of spa treatments and massage therapies, which are relatively affordable.

The rooms are clean. The shower areas are also accessible. There is also WIFI access available. They also play good music all throughout the resort. They offer life vests free for guests in exchange of a valid identification card. They also have basketballs and volleyballs that can be used in the swimming pool.

Food

Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa has a restaurant that offers great food at affordable prices too, but you are not obliged to avail of the resort’s prepared food. You can bring your own food if you if you are on a tight budget and make use of their free cottages.

Customer Service

We anticipated that the resort will have excellent customer service, but not everyone adopted a genuine customer-friendly attitude. The manager,we suppose, was all smile though. However, the regular employees who were picking up the trash and making sure the resort remain spotless couldn’t even smile. A few lifeguards also seemed not in the mood to be friendly.

Fee

You can check the website for updated cost and fee for day tour and night tour packages. We thought that their rates are budget-friendly and easy on the pocket.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

1. For day tours, it is best to come early. You will have a significant amount of time to do all the water activities. They allow guests to do the activities as early as 7:00 am as long as there are life guards on duty.

2. Bring your own food to lessen your expenses. If you have extra cash, try the resort’s prepared food as well.

3. Don’t forget to bring your action camera and make sure it has enough battery and memory to capture the moments.

4. You might have heard or read over the news about the zipline accident that happened in Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa, but the said activity is no longer allowed there.
