Filipino-Chinese mall tycoon Henry Sy is the richest man in the Philippines. This year is 10th year that Sy has been hailed the country’s wealthiest man. Sy, 92, has recorded a net worth of $18 billion. According to Forbes, Sy was the biggest gainer in dollar terms on their Philippines’ Billionaires List released in August 2017. Sy has staked his SM Mall business into real estate and banking. It has since branched out to property, gaming, and mining.

The net of John Gokongwei Jr. went down from $6.2 billion to $5.5 billion in 2017. Gokongwei , 91, is involved in air transportation, telecommunications, banking, food, power, and properties.

Ports and gaming tycoon Enrique Razon Jr. is the Chairman and CEO of International Container Terminal Services, Inc., the country’s leading port management company. He also chairs Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, which runs the Solaire Resort and Casino. Razon’s net worth went up to $4.3 billion from $3.5 billion last year.
