Testing the pH Level of Various Brands of Bottled Water
Pinoy Life Hacks tested the pH level of several brands of bottled drinking water that are being sold in the supermarket. Testing the pH of water is really easy. All you need is pH water test drops or a test kit that can be ordered online. What we used is a pH water test drops and then we just compared the results on the pH chart to determine the water's pH level.
pH ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. From this little science experiment that has been recreated by many on Facebook and on YouTube, we found out that brands such as Summit Mineral Water, Nature's Spring (Red) and Viva Mineralized Water have pH value greater than 7, showing up with blue color. The rest of the brands that we tested came out yellow.
Does the pH level in water really matter? There are claims that some bottles of water are better and safer than the others? What do you think? Share us your thoughts.
